Realtors Endorse Freudenthal

CHEYENNE - Gov. Dave Freudenthal today picked up the endorsement of the Wyoming Association of REALTORS in his bid for re-election.
Gov. Freudenthal thanked the group for its support. "I am pleased and honored that the REALTORS approve of the direction the state is heading," the governor said. "Homeownership is an important stabilizing factor in prolonging our present economic good fortunes -- it signifies a sense of permanence in Wyoming's communities and trust in the path we have chosen to build our state."
"With the support of Wyoming's voters, together with groups like the Wyoming Association of REALTORS, we can continue to make Wyoming a great place to buy a home, live, work, recreate and invest in a community," Gov. Freudenthal said.

Kathy Lucht, President of the Wyoming Association of REALTORS announced today that the State Association has endorsed incumbent Governor Dave Freudenthal in his re-election bid. Lucht noted that the REALTORS appreciate Freudenthal's support for private property rights and his recognition of the importance of homeownership in Wyoming. "The 2,100 plus members of our Association are out there every day trying to help people become homeowners. With the current economic boom in Wyoming, housing costs continue to increase at an amazing rate. The governor's proposals and support for legislation aimed at building infrastructure in our cities and towns will allow our communities to grow the right way," said Lucht.
